Texas Cottage Food Law

Coastal Cottage Gourmet operates in full compliance with the Texas Cottage Food Law (Texas Health & Safety Code 437.019). Under Senate Bill 541, effective September 1, 225 home-based food businesses in Texas may legally produce and sell an expanded base of food types, including through wholesale arrangements with retail stores, cafes, and restaurants, provided certain conditions are met.

Coastal Cottage Gourmet is a registered Cottage Food producer with the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS).
